Uno Rooster

(Gallo Del Cielo x Marmolena, by Smart Little Lena)

   

We leased UNO ROOSTER, a gorgeous mahogany bay stallion by Gallo Del Dielo (aka Rooster) x Marmolena, an own daughter of the ALL TIME LEADING cutting horse sire, Smart Little Lena for the 2011 breeding season.  He has NCHA, NRHA, and NRCHA lifetime earnings of $25,923 and achieved his AQHA ROM in cutting, reining, and working cowhorse classes.  Uno Rooster demonstrated his impressive talent as a cutter, making the finals of the NCHA Open Derby, the Chisolm Trail Derby, and the Abilene Western Open Derby.  Reining and Working Cowhorse was later added to his resume'.  Uno Rooster's accomplishements include: Eastern Slope Slide Novice Horse Open Co-Champion; Sandhills Slide Novice Open Champion; Tulsa Reining Classic Central Affiliate Open Freestyle Champion; Invitational Freestyle Reserve Champion; and Central Affiliate Novice Horse Open Reserve Champion.

We are REALLY looking forward to welcoming Uno Rooster's foals in 2012!

Fritzy King Chex

 We purchased this 2002 buckskin/roan stallion from the Oasis Ranch in Herald, California.  He started his riding career with a solid foundation in reining training with Terry Wegener, Bennet, Colorado, followed by a few years of cutting training and competition with Justin Johnson, Casper, Wyoming.  Justin successfully showed "Fritzy" at the '05-06 and '06-07 Central Wyoming Cutting Club winter series cuttings in Thermopolis, Wyoming.  "Fritzy" was also successfully shown in the larger National Cutting Horse Association classes.  He is a buckskin/roan with lots of talent and personality.  We have been really excited to see his foals each year - they are exceptional athletes, trainable & just "float"!

Thank you and congratulations to John Rodrigues of Atwater, California and Trish Tarver of Merced, California!

We are working on reducing our herd and found a wonderful new home for "Tres".  We wish John and Trish all the best and have been pleased that he has a new good home where he will continue to out-produce himself.  Tres is a real sweetheart, always quiet around the mares and geldings.  He produces a lot of color including black, dun, buckskin, roan, and bay, all with great confirmation and quiet dispositions.
